Yoga – Hatha Flow

In my Hatha Flow classes we will use traditional Yoga postures to strengthen, stretch and mobilise the whole body whilst creating a sense of inner tranquillity. We will link poses together in flowing, warming sequences as well as practicing poses/asana individually. There will be both standing & floor-based work using the breath to deepen and develop the poses. Classes are concluded with a short period of relaxation.

Mats are provided.

Chill Out Yoga

This Class largely comprises floor poses and uses Hatha and Yin Yoga techniques to encourage relaxation and deep stretching, working with the breath. Yin Yoga is a slow mindful practice where poses are held for longer periods of time. The aim is to stretch the body’s connective tissues creating space and strength within the joints. Equipment is used to help settle into the poses and it is recommended that you bring a Yoga Bolster or a pillow and a blanket for your own comfort.

Gentle Yoga

In this gentle Yoga class we will use traditional Yoga postures to strengthen, stretch & mobilise the whole body. Poses will be adapted to suit individual needs so that the class can be performed whilst seated. We will also use the chairs and the wall to aid balance with standing poses. Pilates techniques are also incorporated to develop core stability and strength. The class will finish with a guided, seated relaxation to help restore inner peace and tranquillity. Small equipment is provided.
